After skipping a year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the famous Big Bad Wolf book sale is back with its first ever ‘Hybrid Sale’ – which, as the name implies, involves an on-the-ground sale as well as an online one. Taking place from 1 April to 12 April 2021, shoppers can choose from over 60,000 book titles with up to 99% off the recommended retail price.
The physical sites for the sale are located at Toppen Shopping Centre and AEON Mall Dato’ Onn in Johor Bahru. Both sale locales will be open for 12 consecutive days from 10am to 10pm. But if you’re elsewhere in the country or if you just wish to shop from the comfort of your home, you can visit the official Big Bad Wolf Online Book Sale e-commerce website, which will be available 24 hours a day.
Big Bad Wolf Books co-founder Andrew Yap said that the company held the sale to “quench the thirst” of customers who had been patiently waiting through the pandemic for the iconic sale to return. “There are amazing deals such as the ‘1SEN Deal’ on offer for the Hybrid Book Sale as well as free shipping within Peninsular Malaysia with a net purchase of RM180 and 50% off shipping with no minimum spend for orders and delivery within East Malaysia,” he said.
In addition, the company stated that pandemic-related SOPs established by the government would be enforced at the physical sales locales.
