First announced to the world last month, Nokia 1.4 is now available in Malaysia. The new Android Go-based phone is the latest addition to Nokia Mobile’s offering in our market after the release of Nokia 5.4 earlier this month.
Powered by Qualcomm 215, the Nokia 1.4 also carries a 6.51-inch HD+ display. In Malaysia, the phone is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be padded further with a MicroSD card of up to 128GB.
The phone also comes together with an 8MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera on its back while there is also a 5MP selfie camera. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, support for FM radio, physical fingerprint sensor, and 4000mAh battery although it is rather unfortunate that the phone’s charging rate is limited to 5W.
Then again, HMD Global has claimed that the Nokia 1.4 has a battery life of up to 2 days which means you probably don’t have to charge it that often anyway. While the phone is pre-installed with Android 10 (Go Edition), the company has promised Android 11 (Go Edition) for the phone alongside at least three years’ worth of security updates.
Priced at RM 499, the Nokia 1.4 is readily available from the online store of Macpie Distribution who is the official distributor of Nokia Mobile products in Malaysia. Alternatively, it can also be obtained from Nokia Mobile’s official store on Lazada and Shopee as well as authorized retailers throughout Malaysia.
