OPPO has officially launched the new Reno5 series in Malaysia. The latest entries to the brand’s mid-range series consist of two models; a standard variant and a Pro model, which mainly differs in terms of screen size, featured chipset and some others.
The displays on both Reno5 models feature a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cutout. The duo also features a 4,300mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging, and their rear camera setup consists of a 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide angle, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP mono sensor.
Similarities aside, the standard Reno5 comes with a 6.43-inch flat panel display, a Snapdragon 765G chipset, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Meanwhile, the OPPO Reno5 Pro sports a curved 6.55-inch OLED FHD+ display, a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 SoC, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It’s also worth noting that only the standard variant features a 3.5mm audio jack, while only the Pro version comes with NFC support.
