Apple has unveiled the special variant of AirPods Pro that the company has made for the upcoming Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration. Interesting enough, the limited edition true wireless earbuds are already available for purchase through Apple Malaysia’s website.
To signify 2021 as the Year of The Ox, the company has designed a double ox emoji for the true wireless earbuds. Specifically, you can spot the emoji which is draped in red on the side part of the earbuds’ packaging.
Additionally, the emoji has also been engraved on the Qi-compatible wireless charging case of this AirPods Pro. Aside from the custom-designed emoji, this limited edition AirPods Pro for CNY is still identical to the regular variant though.
In fact, Apple has also retained the price tag for them at RM 1099. While Apple has also updated its Malaysian website to include a dedicated section for CNY, AirPods Pro is the only one that has received the CNY 2021 treatment so far.
