The reviews that followed were unsurprising. Yes, the Faraday cages definitely blocked their router’s Wi-Fi signal, but they also dampened signal strength and, concurrently, internet speeds. To add insult to injury, some of the cages being sold are poorly designed and fairly expensive.
We understand that the word “radiation” has a tendency of ringing alarm bells and raising concerns. But it is important to understand almost everything in this world emits a certain type of radiation, many of which are harmless to human beings.
In the case of Wi-Fi transmissions and 5G, both wireless signals emit a non-ionizing form of radiation. Meaning that it doesn’t produce enough energy to make the electrons split from atoms. If it did, we’d probably be looking at Chernobyl-level scenarios around the world.
