OPPO has previously confirmed that the Find X3 flagship is indeed coming, and will feature the Snapdragon 888 chipset. However, not much else is known about the phone – at least officially. That said, a recent leak published by reliable tipster Evan Blass (aka EvLeaks) may have shed some light on the specifications of the Pro variant.
According to Blass, the OPPO Find X3 (codenamed Fussi) will sport a curved 6.7-inch display with 1440 x 3216 resolution and an adaptive dynamic refresh rate of 10Hz to 120Hz. It is suggested that the phone is around eight millimeters thick and weighs about 190g, and features a ceramic glaze-like or matte-frosted glass rear case. He added that it will be expected to launch in blue and black colour options, with a white version coming later after the phone’s release.
Under the hood, the leakster says that the Find X3 will also include an NFC module with a “dual-body antenna design” which enables tap-to-pay regardless of device orientation. Powering the phone is said to be a dual cell 4.500mAh battery that comes with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging support via USB-C and 30W VOOC Air wireless charging. Software-wise, it will run on OPPO’s ColorOS 11 based on Android 11.
In terms of photography, Blass claims that the new OPPO flagship will feature a quad-camera array on its back. It consists of two Sony IMX766 50MP sensors for its primary and ultra-wide, 13MP telephoto with 2X optical zoom capability, and a 3MP macro camera. The leakster noted that the macro may be a major highlight for the Find X3 Pro, as it is said to feature lights circling its lens which enables it to function as a de facto microscope, capable of 25x microscopic zoom.
Unfortunately, there were no images of the phone included in Blass’ report, but it may not take long until leaks featuring renders or photos showcasing its design to surface online. Despite already officially confirming the existence of the OPPO Find X3, the company has yet to reveal when it is planning to debut its latest flagship device.
