n its current state, MySejahtera felt rather rudimentary based on my experience with the iOS version. In general, there are several things that you can do with it including self-assessment which involved six simple Yes-or-No questions that relates to COVID-19 symptoms and contact tracing.
Other than that, you can also send in your location together with a picture to the authorities from the app. For this particular feature, the app requires you to enable Bluetooth and location settings on your device.
Aside from yourself, you can also include other family members into your MySejahtera profile although it was noted that you should add another dependent into your own profile only if they don’t have access to smartphone. Through the app, you can also call the COVID-19 Hotline, see the list of private home test providers, and visit Virtual Health Advisory service by DoctorOnCall.
Interesting enough, new user registration doesn’t take place in the app itself but instead, it need to be done through the app’s official website. You can choose to register either via e-mail address or phone number as login although the registration form still requires both details as well as you IC number and home address.
Before proceeding further, do check out the app’s FAQ document right here to understand what MySejahtera is all about. For the meantime, please adopt good hygiene and stay home as much as possible throughout the on-going Movement Control Order period so that we have better chance to stop the COVID-19 pandemic together.
